Jesus and compassion go together. As we care for others, we follow His example of love in action. One way we seek to live this out is by partnering with ministries and organisations that are making a real difference in people’s lives.
We invite you to join us as we reflect Jesus’ compassion to the world around us - partnering together to bring hope, help, and kindness to our community and beyond.
ADRA, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, is the official humanitarian agency of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, working to bring relief, hope, and long-term change to communities in need.
At Nunawading Church, we’re proud to support ADRA both locally and beyond through practical projects that care for our community.
The ADRA Community Care Bus brings food, clothing, books, and support to people across Melbourne. It’s also a safe place to find friendship, prayer, and hope.
Nunawading Church supports the bus every week with bread, clothing, toys, and books. Our pastoral team supports the chaplaincy program, and our members regularly volunteer to lend a hand.
Through the bus, we share God’s love in practical, personal ways.

We believe in caring for our community with kindness, dignity, and practical support: because everyone matters.
Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes. Our Food Pantry provides free groceries - both pantry staples and fresh items - to families in need. Most deliveries are made directly to clients by our volunteer teams every second Saturday (with short breaks during school holidays).

Faith FM is a Christian radio network sharing “positively different” lifestyle and spiritual programming with communities across Australia. Since launching in 2008, Faith FM has reached millions with inspiring music, family insights, health advice, and uplifting messages of hope - all grounded in the life-changing truths of the Bible.
Nunawading Church supports Faith FM as it continues to make a positive impact, bringing encouragement, faith, and practical guidance to listeners both locally and across the country.
Road to Bethlehem is an interactive walk-through event that brings the story of the first Christmas to life. Each year, over 15,000 people experience this immersive retelling of the miracle of Jesus’ birth and are invited to consider the deeper question: Why did He come?
Nunawading Church is proud to support this event alongside other Adventist churches, contributing through set-up, acting, guiding, staging, lighting, and more. It’s one of the ways we share the hope and message of Jesus with our wider community.
